Artist's Description
Color landscape, architectural photograph of a lifeguard tower that is closed at Rancho Palos Verdes Beach in Rancho Palos Verdes, California in the south bay area of Los Angeles County. Rancho Palos Verdes Beach is the beach below the Trump National Golf Club. The beach has a lot of small pebbles in the sand and the lifeguard shack is in front of some very steep cliffs filled with rocks and vegetation. It is very late in the day nearing sunset and the sun is emiting a wam tone over the scene. The tower has been closed and locked up with signs that says Lifeguard Off Duty. For over 20 years Craig Brewer was an advertising and editorial photographer working with ad agencies and editorial magazines shooting on assignment. Craig won many awards for his photography and later moved to California where he joined the Photographers Guild and shot production and advertising stills for television shows.
